Spring 2015 Pre-Season Primer
Feb. 24, 2015
BOSTON, MA - The Terriers look to make noise in their NCBA Division 1 debut season; starting with 5 non-conference games during the Spring Training Showcase in Tampa in a little over a week. BU has been working hard throughout the winter to get ready for the start of the season in early March. The Terriers look to come out strong against Penn State, the nationally ranked program that won an NCBA Championship just two years ago.
With new coach, Jordan Kessel, at the helm, the Terriers look to push forward and build after posting a 3-3 record in the fall season. BU hit their stride at the tail end of the fall season, however, BU's last series against Northeasten was postponed due to inclimate weather with no make-up in sight. BU aims to use their momentum and game experience over Spring Break to propel them into North Atlantic-North Conference success, which commence just two weeks after their return.

BU Heads South for Spring Training
Feb. 23, 2015
BOSTON, MA - From March 8th to the 11th the Boston University Baseball team will head down to Plant City, Florida to compete in the 2015 National Club Baseball Association Spring Training Showcase. The Terriers will open against Penn State followed by Central and Western Michigan, George Mason, and cap off the trip against Virginia Tech. Given the recent weather conditions in Boston, the Terriers are amped to see a field without snow let alone compete in a real-game setting.
The Terriers will be led this spring by junior shortstop Pat Williamson as well as seniors Peter Zampa, Matt O'Brien, and Ross Zamparelli. This group of players will also receieve support from a wealth of underclassmen talent.
With Jordan Kessel, an alumnus and former Captain of the Boston University Baseball team, coaching the Terriers this year, big things are expected this spring and in the years to come.
